What is there for you to discover in Wiesbaden?
Due to the fact that the city of Wiesbaden was less affected by the destruction of the war than other cities, the historical cityscape of Wiesbaden is very uniform. The center of the Old Town - within the Historical Pentagon - is the Schlossplatz.
This dates back to the Middle Ages and, together with other historical buildings, forms an ensemble worth seeing. The oldest building in the city is the Old Town Hall, which was built between 1608 and 1610. On the eastern edge of the Historic Pentagon runs the magnificent Wilhelmstraße, where you will find great cafes and classy boutiques.
At the northern end of Wilhelmstraße is the Kureck, in the center of which is the Bowling Green. A rectangular green area with two impressive cascading fountains.
If you visit Wiesbaden during the colder months, you can't help but visit the Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme. A bathing palace, which offers bathing luxury at the highest level in the center of Wiesbaden for those seeking relaxation.
For nature lovers there is the cultural diversity around the city of Wiesbaden quasi to hike: In the nature park you will discover numerous hiking routes along picturesque natural landscapes! There are also two world heritage sites in the nature park. On the one hand, the Upper Middle Rhine Valley and the Roman protective wall Limes.
