In the southwest of the French-speaking part of Switzerland, on Lake Geneva, lies the city of Geneva! With about 210,000 inhabitants, Geneva is the second largest city in Switzerland after Zurich. Mont Salève is considered the city's local mountain, yet the mountain is already on French territory.
